- Dried prunes : 1/2 kg
- Chaar Maghaz : 50 grams
- Sugar : 100 grams
- National Vinegar : 4 tablespoons
- National Salt : As required
- Water : 1 glass
- National Tikka Boti Masala: 1 tablespoon
Wash the dried prunes and soak in 2 glasses of water for an hour or so.
Mix in the chaar maghaz and National Tikka Boti Masala.
Set the prunes to cook on low heat and simmer until the fruit falls apart.
Now add the sugar and cook until the excess water evaporates and the sugar thickens to a syrupy consistency.
Mix in the salt and vinegar, cook briskly for 1 minute and remove from the heat.
