Easy Iftar Dawat Upgrades

As the month of blessings and forgiveness comes close every day, Muslims all around the world are getting excited with the preparations for Ramadan.

Here are some efficient iftar daawat planning tips which will be helpful for you:

KEEP THE MENU MODERATE!

Focus on a well-balanced menu with a good mix of iftari dishes like pakoras, samosas, fruit chaat, dahi baray, and khatay aloo, along with a couple of main dishes like Biryani, Haleem, etc.

MAKE SURE TO ADD A FEW KID-FRIENDLY ITEMS TO THE MENU!

Most kids will not eat spicy dishes. Some easy ideas are mixed fruits, chicken nuggets, pasta, cheese pizza, etc.

HYDRATE BEFORE EATING! HAVE LOTS OF WATER READY!

Have a lot of water, Rooh Afza, and fresh juice jugs ready for the guests since it’s very important to stay hydrated in long fasts during the summers.

GET A TRAY OF KHAJOORS READY! IT’S NOT AN IFTAR WITHOUT DATES!

Manage your time well. Make sure all the food is ready and set on the table before iftar time. Being late in getting the table ready won’t make your guests look very kindly upon you.

LAY THE PRAYER MATS (JANAMAZ) FOR THE GUESTS!

Set a separate praying area for men and women. Have all the prayer mats in your house ready.
