Achari chicken pulao

Ingredients:

  • 300 grams chicken
  • 2 cups soaked rice
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 sliced onion
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tbsp chopped green chillies
  • 1 stick cinnamon, 4 to 5 black pepper, 2 green cardamom, 1 black cardamom, 2 to cloves
  • 2 tbsp beaten yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp whole spice powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1.5 tbsp National Crushed Pickle
  • 1 tbsp National Pulao Masala

Directions

  • Heat oil and fry onion till translucent.
  • Add chicken and cook till colour changes.
  • Add ginger garlic paste and whole garam masala and cook till chicken tenders.
  • Add National Pickle and all spices and cook till water dries.
  • Add beaten yogurt and mix.
  • Cook for 5 minutes then add 2 glass water.
  • Give it a boil and add drained rice and cook till water dries.
  • Keep on dum for 5 to 10 minutes
  • Serve with salad and raita
