- Bread Slices : 10-12
- Oil : for shallow frying
- Sugar : 1/2 cup
- Water : 1 cup
- Milk : 1/2 litre
- National Gajar Kheer : 4 tablespoons
- Almonds (skinned) : for garnish
Cut the edges of bread and slice them in triangles.
Fry the bread in medium heat till golden in color. Strain and keep aside.
In a sauce pan, combine sugar and water. Bring to a full boil and cook till sugar dissolves. Keep aside.
Bring milk to full boil and add National Gajar Kheer little at a time while stirring.
Cook on medium heat for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Using a low height tray, laydown fried bread in a single layer.
Pour little sugar syrup on bread slices, once soaked evenly spread National Gajar Kheer Mix over bread slices.
Garnish. Can be served either cold or at room temperature.
