Brioche Koftas

Ingredients:

For brioche bread

  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 tbs full of unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp National Salt
  • 1/4 tsp yeast
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/3 milk, add more if needed.
  • Extra beaten egg for brushing

For meatballs (kofta)

  • 300 gm minced chicken
  • 1 tbs kofta masala
  • 1 tbs fried onions
  • 2 tbs yoghurt
  • 1 tbs tomato paste.
  • 2 garlic cloves.
  • 3 green chilies.
  • 1/4 tsp National Salt
  • 1 wet bread
  • 1 small onion.
  • 1 tbs coriander leaves.

Directions

Brioche bread:

  • Take a bowl, add milk, yeast, sugar, and 1 tbs flour from 1 cup of flour. Make a mixture and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  • In a separate bowl add milk and egg and beat well until smooth texture.
  • Then gradually add yeast mixture then flour, knead it well, and rest it for 40 to 45 minutes.

Meatballs (kofta):

  • Meanwhile in a food processor mix all ingredients and chopped meat well until you get a finely minced mixture.
  • Make koftas or balls, in a frying pan add 1 tsp oil and just evaporate the meatballs moisture, then keep aside.
  • Now take the dough, divide it into equal parts according to no of koftas, make a small ball then roll into 3 to 4 inches round roti, place the ball in the middle, and seal both sides like a boat.
  • Set in small baking round greased pan, then leave for 5 minutes.
  • Now preheat the oven on 200 to 210°C.
  • Brush the dough with egg and bake for 20 to 25 minutes until done and brown.
  • Brush oil or butter immediately after baking.
  • Serve with National Chili Garlic & National Ketchup.
